Nice. I have a SC8 as well, stock motor is ok, you can run the crap out of them. I swapped a Novarossi FMS into mine, it hauls arse. Have fun with it, they are fun. The stock tires have almost no traction, but they make you drive it.

Look at Mx51's avatar. He painted the monster emblem by hand. Get a clear body and make it yours.

I have a SC8. I ran it at the local track mabey 2 times and parked it. No one races them here. I just bought an RC8B and stole the servos and engine from the truck. I should sell it to some one who'll want it.

Default pro starter took a dump

well thanks for looking guys!!
does anyone know if there is any other way of starting this thing??
the pro starter took a crap the first day the gears are messed up im assuming
although i did get it to start a couple times before it did

anyways im not worried about a custom body to tear up just yet

it also came with an extra body the BLACK ONE it is super awesome i think its the best one EVER!! It is a FASTAID.ORG body
FAST Aid is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial, educational and personal assistance to injured racers, support teams and their families as well as ensures the necessary support is in place to complete a thorough recovery and rehabilitation from motor sports racing incidents.

anyways especially to me cause the graphics are dedicated to the 8 people who lost there life and the many injured at the California 200 Off road race
which i normally attend only just a short trip from my house..
so its unique for sure

a starter box is the only way to start these things...i am NOT a fan of the hand held starters unless that is the only choice (like on a hpi savage).

I have a dynamite starter box i am using for mine...it works ok, i know there are better ones out there.

Actually he's just whining because he needs to break in the new motor he got for it. It hasn't gotten much above freezing for a while. I think he should put the pro motor in in and play...

I got one too.. Fun truck.. The bodies don't last long though..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjNOlz-3Kek

Etc..

Since running it the last time I've put in a heavier rear sway bar - on the assumption that it will make it less roll-y and top-heavy looking through the curves, as well as some Big Bore shocks from an RC8B.. Hope to test soon.. Am also thinking of trying a new Losi 454 in it...
