Default Hitachi DB3DL-Clutch Setting?

Hey guys,

Just got my Hitachi, I was wondering what Clutch setting most are using on this bad boy? Tried mine, and had it about 5-6 and seemed about right. What setting's do you guys use? just incase I don't overdo it or something-Just so I know for piece of mind cheers

I constantly change the clutch setting depending on what I am screwing into. Once it slips and I can tell that the scwer is not tight enough I go up on the clutch settings... Congrats on the pickup. Your forearms will thank you immediately!!!

5 or 6 is what i normally use, except when cutting new threads in plastics like diff case. Once its close to tight i finish by hand. Be carefull turning the drill by hand to tighten the screws! Its easy to strip plastic!

Ok cheers chaps-Yeah I had a Bosch one-but was so slow-I could do it by hand faster, so decided to cough up a get a proper one. Ok Yeah-I know it depends on what your doing but 5-6 seems about the norm then. Yeah, I prefer to make sure to nip it up hand tight tbh anyway. Thanks for the reply guys!

between 1-6 for 3mm screws. 9 setting for 4mm.
