Tire gluing jig??
Just recently seen a tire gluing jig for offroad tires on here somewhere and can't seem to remember where. I did a little searching and have not been able to find it or who it was made by. I would like to scoop one up. I do remember that the link some one had posted also had a instructional video showing how to use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Its made by DIRT R/C products, a new company in Central FL with about 30 years of experience in the hobby industry, including design and development. You can purchase the Ultimate Tire Gluer at Absolutehobbyz.com. The current model is for 1/8 buggy only, but a truggy plate will soon be available. We are also developing 1/10 scale applications. Thanks for the inquiry.

I bought one a while back but haven't used it yet except for loading up a tire to see how it worked. Pretty cool and simple. I ended up gluing all the posts in so it won't work for truggy tires since you can't move the posts to the outer position.

I got mine last week, got to use it today. 1 word
AWESOME:nod: |
I bought one and used it last week. Works directly as advertised in the video above and saved alot of time. It takes just seconds to glue a side.
When you use it, tab it hard and fast on the table. That I found that really set the tire bead, then follow it up with some Jconcepts or similar tire bands and let set for about 10 min. Don't forget to remove the bands as they will flatten out these new bread of closed cell inserts fairly quickly. |
