well i think ill go with a 250f. for my height and weight and level, i think it will be a solid all around bike. I just found this on craigslist...good deal? Seems like a great buy. 5 hours since rebuild, 07'. sounds like a keeper.

Jimmy is insanely fast. Geico Honda picked him up to ride Wil Hahn's bike for Supercross. I miss 2 strokes......lol

Blue or red is the way to go IMO and 4 stroke.. its nice to have the bottom end TQ.

No need for health insurance up here in canada... but its not the best service

Dam jimmy is fast!!! I havnt seen anyony ride a 2 stroke like that in a long time...That bike you found on craiges list looks like a good buy but just be careful people like to make things sound better than what they really are!!!Dont worry about your size on a 250f look at davi millsaps he is a big kid look where hes at

Yeah i think a 250f will be plenty of power for me as a beginner, then once i get better i might move up to a 450f. ktm makes a 350f which looks kind of appealing too.

Personally i ride yamaha but thats just cuz i my sponsered by that local yamaha shop but like i said they are all great bikes these days they all have a different feel to them you may feel more comfortable on one then another but wont go wrong buying a honda over a yamaha or vis versa..

Any of the big 4 will do you just fine. KTM is a great bike, but the suspension has always been "weird" for lack of a better term and the parts are expensive. Pick a brand that you have a local or semi-local dealer for...makes it easier to get parts and such.

Just be careful when you buy. Like mx51 said....people ALWAYS make it sound way better than it is...and with 4 strokes you never know how close to death the top end truly is...so buyer beware. If it looks ratted out or filthy...walk away from it. If it looks spit shined....look extra careful. Just bring someone with you that knows what to look for...and never pay asking price ;-)
