Does anyone know if Robbers was running a composite chassis, or aluminum chassis on the CR8?

My CR8 has a composite chassis and was 120 - 130g overweight. I also was using HB wheels and the HB wing which are on the heavy side of the spectrum compared to other wings & wheels. The CR8 could be very near or just under the min weight with some changes.

Thanks, driving 5 hours or so to get back home at 5am kind of sucked, too many entries or a revised race program could have been better. It's kind of cold here but still warmer than Ohio is now.

Hey Jesse,

I wanted to thank you for some of the tips you gave me at Nitro Challenge. It is always helpful when Team driver like you and Ty are approachable for questions. Congrats to you both on the 1st and 2nd finish in buggy. the race was great. The only bummer was the 5 hour drive home to Cali.

Hi guys,

Team HB would like to announce that it is continuing to develop the HB D8 platform in conjunction with the forthcoming introduction of the HB CR8 chassis platform. Each chassis platform offers it’s own unique advantages and “feel” to suit various individual driving styles. The World Championship Winning Team HB will continue to have 2 chassis platform options at their disposal to suit each drivers preference and track conditions. Stay tuned for more exciting HB and Team HB news throughout the year. From everyone at Team HB, thank you for your continued support!

I believe there have been statements by Hara that there would be ongoing improvements to the D8 (Neo 2011). And I'm pretty sure Jesse and/or Josh stated that the D8 would be offered alongside the CR8. So thanks for the confirmation, but it's old news. So let's get-r-done.

I believe Hara and Jesse and/or Josh stated that same thing. So thanks for the confirmation, but it's old news. Now is the time to GIT-R-DONE.

I predict that at some point we will see an aluminum chassis CR8. Will it be at the Neo 2012 race?

I also predict that Hara will not run a CR8 at the Worlds unless it has an aluminum chassis.
