It has some of the new parts and a revised manual. Take a look here I have recently done a build of the EVO edition Serpent.

Where are you seeing this evo edition. The only evo editions are the on road cars. Nothing to do with the 811

Anyone know if early 811 (kits prior to evo) owners will get the updated parts supplied with evo kits? Thanks

The EVO kit comes with the updated radio tray and the 3 bearing couplers for the diffs. Everything else in the kit is identical to the originals.

If you have an older kit that came with the V1 radio tray and you purchased it from a vendor, you can contact Serpent America or your vendor to receive a complimentary V2 radio tray.

The bearing couplers will not be a complimentary item if your kit did not come with them. They're not really needed, but a nice addition just from a maintenance standpoint.

All kits shipped from here on out are EVO kits. That's all Serpent America has in stock, but vendors such as A Main and Absolute may still have older version kits in stock. Pretty easy to tell by the sticker on the box.

The manual is still the same, but has additional pages included for the new parts.

Setting up the V2 radio tray brakes is really quite simple. First and foremost, if you're coming from the V1 tray and switching to the V2 tray, you have to make sure you change the brake levers on the center diff to the V2 levers. They're labeled on the parts tree that comes with the new tray. If you don't change those, you won't have brakes. The rest of the setup is pretty self explanatory in the update sheet that comes with the new trays. There are parts that are re-used from the V1 tray setup as well so take note of that as well.
