Default Hex tool question

Hi All,
Where is a good place to get replacement hex tips from. I have 2 sets of mteric hex tools (1.5,2.0,2.5 & 3.0). They are broken or worn out and I would like to just the replace the tips and continue to use the handles since there is nothing wrong with them.

Shawn,
You can get EDS tips pretty cheap on EBAY. They are a good quality tip too.

Quite a few places out there, Hudy and eds tools all sell replacement tips. Depends alot on what kind of money your lookin to spend. I myself have the eds tools but I here alot of raves on the hudy product as well as many ohters. Hell I even know a guy who uses the duratrax tool set and he swares by them.

I have been in r/c for about 20 years now and there is no way that I will spend Hudy money on r/c tools. You can get quality ones for half the price. The Duratrax ones are good.

EDS are the exact same tips as Hudy only a way lower price. EDS tools are the best hands down, Hudy is overpriced for what you get. Different anodizing, different name same exact tool

+1 on the EDS tools. I don't see any reason spending more money on Hudy tools when you you can get the same thing for much cheaper.

MIP Thorp drivers are also very good but they don't have replaceable tips. Which isn't a problem as long as you don't use them as a Prybar. I have had a set of MIP and EDS tools for 3 years and they have no wear on them at all.

Some tips have the hex part really long, so you can grind of the worn part and end up with a fresh driver. I just did that to some of my 4 year old Losi drivers. So it's another 3-4 years till I have to think about new tips for them.

L love the odonnell tips because of their length. They measure 130mm long. The vp pro are also good tips which measure 120mm long. The dynamites are to short.
