If you want to make nylon parts I advise you to get something like these:

Plastic chopping board

when rc car designer make parts using rapid prototyping, do they use nylon or other material ?

i heard that most car designer use the parts from rapid prototyping for testing as it is hard and tough enough.

They use 3D printers which can actually create a working part, not as strong as you want it to be but good enough to make a test drive or just try to see if it fits with the rest.

If you're looking to make things like A-arms, diff mounts, any sort of structural part, you should consider full-strength Delrin 100AF. It's a mix of Delrin polymer and 20% teflon. Low surface resistance and high strength. you can even machine it:

Plastic chopping board

Most cutting boards like the one pictured are made of UHMD.

We used sheets of UHMD for under body protection on Rally Cars (real ones).

Its very tough "plastic".
