Default Got a Losi 8ight T 2.0 - Need some advice

Okay, I just got a used Losi 8ight T 2.0 RTR Truggy (I know a roller is better, but the price was to good to pass). I was hoping all you Losi experts could tell me what I should start out by getting to make the RTR better.

I won't replace anything until it breaks, but what are the recommendations for part that I should get to make it more like the Race Roller.

Thanks in advance

Well apart from the chassis, all the parts only differ from a durability standpoint.

i would start with aluminum shock caps and aluminum diff inserts for the rear diff, other than that you should be good to go.

First thing without a doubt would be the Aluminum Shock Caps. The stock plastic ones are not the greatest. If the truggy still has the stock servos I would look at upgrading those as well. To be honest with you, for the rest of the stuff I would replace as it breaks or wears out. The Losi RTR is very solid out of the box other then a couple things.

Thanks for the quick responses. I believe the Servos have been replaced because they don't look like the ones in eBay that say they are from the RTR kit.

Should I just replace the shock caps or the whole shock body?

Thanks again

I also have the RTR truggy and these mods are the only ones I did. Except the aluminum steering servo arm and that's it. Runs great!
