Not sure but looking at the pics it looks like the motor has been moved forward and the braking system side mounted to the center diff mount for easy removal/install of the diff. Battery tray different, Oh i could just be the pic but those shocks look bigger! LOL

There's a whole lot of changes that break it away as it's own car from the pics, the new gas tank, chassis looks like it dropped alot of the under weight, cva's I just hope they are the same front and rear to save on some cash. Those shocks look like half of a revision, the caps look new but the bodies look like the same 16mils and new stone guards that stay low. A very small percentage will have cousin parts to the Jammin from the pics mostly balls or ball ends. I hope the tank has a fuel clunk but looks promising.

All uses the same front end and rear end. So what if the've moved the parts around on the chassis. Its still the same cars.

Nothing new and innovative.
You better off holding on to the old car.
Copy? I don't think so, I haven't owned the Agama, Serpent, or Xray, and they are all different than the Losi, but the JQ is completely different front and rear end geometry than the Losi. 200g lighter, Super short a-arms, wide front hinge pin holders, different rear hub setup, adjustable weight distribution, and the rear shocks are much further in on the tower and arms. This was from back to back comparison with digital calipers of my old Losi and The Car.

Were they trying to make it look like a Mugen/JQ/ Losi or was that another Jammin mistake?

If they can price it in the makret where the old HB D8 (standrd version before the Hara) used to sit, high $200, I think they could be onto a winner. As it is now, theres no cheap entry level buggy thats a good racer like the D8 was, the cheapest now is probably $350+, could be a great oppurtunity for a manufacturer to corner that part of the market right now......

man i must say i like this buggy i dont if i will ever see at my track but maybe it will pop up during the summer time.

the arms are beefy .

i love the linkage setup even though they copyed off off serpent and the brakes disc.

i curious how much it will be .

il , say this if companys are coming out with new 1/8 truggys/buggys your best bet is not to have your kit priced at over $500 right now at least.

cough yea you losi with the 1/8 scales lol.

All the new plastic on this prototype car are 3D CAD printed.
Production car will have smooth surfaces like the ball joints have.

Hong Nor was known to have pretty sturdy plastics that could take a good beating. Should be interesting.

did anybody see the new hyper star. there are some pics of it with white an pink shell on the net. an toy show 11. i hate to say it but this is new? looks like the flintstones bug.those are 4 year old shocks, and bigger is not always better.nothing really stands out. i dont think they can keep up with whats going on in todays r/c market. the hyper9 fell off. there was hardly hop up support. and what 2 topps pros driving it. because keep in mind they stopped production of the x2 months ago. jay's gone. they do have good plastic.

oh i know but i remember the hyper 9 having that kind of plastic when it wasnt a prototype.

the plastic does look good and strong .

it looks like the engine is moved foward and the other things on it i say it can be competive with the losi/associated buggys.

The Inverted Center diff looks different, something I can't recall on other buggies.. The 1 piece radio tray is a nice touch, should make servo changes quicker and easier.. Rear diff looks like it might be similar to that of the Losi style rear diff. Should be an interesting production buggy, if it hits the streets in current form..

But I gotta correct a few of you, because it looks nothing like the Hot Bodies D8, unless you mean they both have 4 wheels..
