About the only time I try to pass over a jump is if there is a triple and the guy in front of you is hitting it double single or you can tell he doesn't have enough coming into it to triple it so he has to double it. Hang back a little and time it so I'm launching as he is descending and fly on over. Get too close and you'll plow the ass end of his buggy in mid air. Or take a different line and hope the 2 of you don't meet in the middle. I like to just let my FMS pull them on the straights Much more satisfying.

Default Pass in the air

ALWAYS go for the pass. It is the best crowd pleaser they love it! They begin to expect it from you and when you deliver time and again well you become a Rockstar. The pressure can be pretty intense, but hey things could be worse.

Remember ALWAYS go for the pass in the air. Showtime

+1, he must of posted on the wrong thread. i certainly hope so

i have to agree with 2fst2c. the best way to do that without crashing or looking like an ass is to triple when the other guy doubles.

A good % of people I've raced with don't have that kind of restraint ..lol I can think of many times I've passed in a corner and had someone smash me in the back up the face of a jump .. and they fly way farther than they normally would because they were just hammered down trying to pass. By driving through me lol

I'm guilty of 'mid-air rear end collisions' but in my defense its a depth perception thing were i can't tell that i'm actually in line with him and not next to them. I always apologize when its my fault because i hate getting hit myself.
