Hitec servos have been AWESOME for me the last 3 years.

There are to many engines that are new to the market that no one knows of, I say hold off a bit and wait till the new 2011 engines come out......

Hitec's and Savox. Both work great! Savox are cheaper!

Thumbs up

Never noticed any extra power drain from Savox.

In my RC8T CE I have...

Reedy 121VR engine
AE 2039 Tuned pipe
AE DS1015 servos
PL tires

I like the servos, I only have AE servos in all my vehicles. I never noticed less or more runtime with those servos.

the savox sevos are a great choice,go life rx pack for sure, alpha orange head or the new .23 truggy are great truggy motors, they get excellent run time and a ton of power..the dx3r is a great radio or the m11x,those are the two safest choices i think..alot of people are getting away from the futaba..good luck and its a great truck..

Well i have her home and the build has started, i must say so good so far. I will say on the record that building any model is the way to go, yes its takes time and patience but it will be well worth it when i have this done. I do have one question- is anyone putting grease in the cases?

What case? Diffs get 7/7/7 fluid, ring gear gets a light coat of grease.

You don't have to put a lot of grease on the ring gear. Just few spots here and there. Once installed in the diff case. Turn the diff with your fingers and all the grease will go all around the ring gear and the pinion.

mobil 1 synthetic grease works great where you need grease

but stop what you're doing and watch this series of videos first
