SHOCK SETUP
Question for all, and team drivers please chime in........
In 1/8 buggy why do some factory setups call for lighter front shock oil than rear? And some use heavier front shock oil than in rear?
I kno tht lighter oil n softer springs up front will usually yield more steering...but if ur not needing more steering at all, wht would b the benifits of running stiffer oil up front than in the rear??
For instance I read a setup today for the serpent buggy, they use heavier oil in front n the buggy is said to turn on a dime, I run the hara n our setups almost all have lighter oil in front than rear......does tht mean tht the serpent can b setup to have even more steering if u go lighter up front than rear?? Or does tht mean tht the design of the hara will only turn good if u use light oil up front???
Help me out
