well it depends on what people run at your track which at most club tracks ive seen mostly associated and losi truggys.

so for associated get the rc8t champ ed or the eight-t 2.0.

you could be diffrent and go with mugen or hb or kyosho but you wont get tips from others if they dont run them.

tc5 is correct. there are many "good" truggies out there. the best one to buy is one that you can get the support and advice you need where you race. check out your local track and see what the most popular one is, who is the most willing to help out, and what the parts support in the area is. it seems that in the right hands, almost all the truggies out there can win on any given day, so get the one that you can work with the best in your area.

Honestly, any of the top name brand truggies are going to be good and be able to compete. It's a matter of what you want and what your local track/hobbyshop supports. The driver is the largest deciding factor.

I would start out with checking around your area at the local hobby shop and track to see whats popular . Parts and knowledge of the truggy are super helpful.

There is NO BEST. Its what you want, i prefer going with best local parts and set up help. My favorites are d8t and its cheapest kit, and i like mbx6t.
