A RTR pulse better than D8 kit NO WAY! D8 is one of the best cars ive owned, and they did win Ifmar worlds and got 2nd the secong Ifmar worlds out. Can't argue that when i dought a pulse will hold out lol. Get a D8 not a rtr car, buy the d8, savox or hitec servos, and a werks b6 or dynamite xpe engine. This is a bang for your buck racer!

The HPI Pulse looks the original Hotbodies D8 prototype.
The shock towers thats are on The HB website are different from what they are now.

Just compare pics, CRAZY right

No comparison what so ever. The D8 is way more diffrent. Just by pics the whole car is diffrent, Shocks, diff case, fuel tank, towers, a arms, knucles, hubs, bumpers, etc. They have nothing alike at all. Im sure diffs are diffrent also the cvd's are diffrent. and radio tray and engine mount.....

The parts that are different between the 2 make the Hot Bodies D8 the better choice by far. All the parts on the Pulse are stamped Aluminum, and the HB parts are CNC aluminum, which is way better..

Yes that is true they are different, but I was refering to certain similar parts, like spindles and hubs. And if you look on HB website the D8 has a couple of different types of front shock towers. Maybe one to many beers, All I was saying was it looks like it was a prototype for HB but HPI used it MAYBE.

HPI and HB are same company, if you want to see a similar comparison do d8 and electric vorza. The pulse is a diffrent desighn, Josh only desighnes the D8 and the d8t came from d8. They can't really copy the desighn.

As above, you could only ever consider the D8 for racing use IMO.

The Hara edition is the platinum choice, but the standard D8 is still a weapon in the right hands.

I drive an Associated RC8B, I'd happily run the D8.

The other...................well in the nicest possible way, you can stick it where the sun don't shine

I suggest you get some new friends who know about racing!

MCR82 has an excellent point. Great value and its doubtful you would outgrow its capabilities anytime soon.

But my friend is saying " you dont need this change... pulse is stable and comfortable like d8 ,Sell your flux and get hpi pulse's option parts , engine , pipe and servos , im not prefer d8 instead of hpi pulse ."
