What servos do you guys recommend for a mugen mbx6 buggy? High or low voltage?

What is your price range? Because thats going to affect what servo people recommend to you.The best servos I would recommend for a buggy would be a Hitec 7945TH on Lipo for steering and a Hitec 7940TH for throttle on Lipo. But they run about $140. If you don't want to spend quite that much Hitec 7955TG's are a very good servo and will handle Lipo without a problem.

Dont buy cheap servo's, atleast for the steering, you might get away with it on throttle until you can afford to upgrade

I am new to nitro and wanted to purchase good reliable and reasonable servos. I'm not looking to cheap out but also don't want to break the bank.

What I would recommend then is a Savox SC-1258TG for Throttle and a Savox SC-1256TG for steering. I have very good luck with Savox servos and are very good in terms of price to performance.

Friend of mine is running the 1267 in his ebuggy, no problems as of yet and he says it's the smoothest servo he's ever ran.

yeah the 1267 looks the go the 1268 is an over kill 26kg/361oz in

Yes 361 oz is overkill in a buggy. But for some people a steering servo that is faster then 0.10 like the 1267 (0.09) can actually hurt them and make the car feel twitchy. It all comes down to personal preference. In my experience I like using a servo that's slower then 0.10. But some people do like it.

These servos are top notch. Savox makes Orion, Spektrum, Align, a lot of high end servos. These are just inexpensive and work great

if you get the ace or xp servos dont use straight lipo with them. They will eventually go bad on you. I have had a 1015 and a 1313 go bad on me using lipo without a regulator. If you use a regulator, there good servos
