Have you had any problems running the chrome top on 4s? Which chrome top do you have, the twin 775 or the one with the single monster motor?

How about the old associated starter box, is it enough for truggy?

I have the chrome top with the big single motor. I no problems running 4s on it.

The Ofna chrome top is awesome and the 12 volt motor starts anything that I run with no problems at all. I run a gel cell but have seen it run on a LiPo as well.

Nice, very similar setup to Kyosho box. If fact the switch and motor setup looks exactly the same just a bigger wheel.
I never worried about a relay due to not much load on the switch with twin 550s in series, doesn't hurt to have one though.

Default HOBBYPARTZ starter BOX!!!!

I just got my $45 hobbypartz.com box and side by side vs the Ofna truggy box it is a very close clone, I believe OEM is the same. I did remove and solder direct on the connections to motors and replaced with deans. ( which should be done in my opinion anyways with any box ) With a 12v set up it rips my motor over very nicely. ( Mind you that I cannot turn this motor at all with my fingers once mounted in the car )

BOTTOM line is so for this is a GREAT value for anyone who is looking for a starter box on a budget, and it competes with the best of them.
