I recommend the OFNA Blue Box on 4S Lipo. Best starter box setup in my opinion.

I just went through the starter box and replaced the wiring and motor connectors to better quality. I have seen people not do this and it worked fine. I just did it because I can reroute the wires exactly how I wanted.

I've got a RC8T, too, and I'll cast another vote for the blue OFNA box. I've been using a 12v gel cell battery. It's a lot heavier than lipo, but it works great!

I don't know why people don't like the AE box. Its different than most boxes in that the whole top doesn't move down to expose the wheel. The car moves down and contacts the already exposed wheel. I see lots of people jumping up and down on there boxes to get their cars started. One hand effortless operation and a monkey could line it up.

Hard to say. I have the mugen starter box works great with my RC8T. So since I have NOT tried every starter box out there like most of these people havent either, I will say Mugen starter box, best out there.

AE one sounds really good I may try that one also.
