A local guy I know had a Losi, then switched to Serpent and found it too twitchy Then turned to Agama found it drove similar to Losi, but fragile. Then switched back to Losi.

That's what he told me anyway.

I've had a losi 8ight 2.0 and now I have an Agama A8. I would say the Agama drives like a Losi, but has more steering. The plastics on the Agama are a lot better; for example, when you are tightening screws you can actually get on them and the plastic won't strip out. The price of the Agama is more reasonable; plus the agama doesn't require any hop ups. I've had my Agama for over a month and have yet to replace a single part. The Losi is a good car but for me it doesn't have enough steering and I used to strip rear ring gears. Also the Adjustable Hinge Pin braces are almost a must on the Losi and thats like another $80; the Agama comes with adjustable hinge pin braces stock. I've had almost every car from Losi 8ight 1.0 Losi 8ight 2.0, Serpent S811, Team Associated RC8B, Xray 808 and I prefer the Agama A8.

They are very similar. But the agama does have some of its own trademarks. But yes they did start the design off the 8ight.

And one more pro for the agama is that the plastics wear is less and parts are half the price of the losi.Which means super cheap to maintain. Most people who run at lake park in florida now run the agama. They switched from the losi.

well Dp if you drove a losi then you already know how the agama is. if people are saying they are the same just one steers more then think of the losi with little more steering. or just get you a losi and put a agama body on it lol. just messing with you man. i seen one at burtons track it looked pretty good man pretty good. but heck all the buggy they have come out with are looking pretty good now. aint no slacking in no industry this year.

Just get the losi and be done with it.

Put the inclined parts on it and you'll be able to push it as hard as you want.
