RB is not made in France. It's a company in France only. RB has stuff made in Italy and China.

I could be wrong but I don't believe AKA is from Kyosho, and they claim at least they are US made.

I believe Odonnell is 100% American. I'm anti China products also but more on the everyday stuff like shoes and clothes and toys for my grandson.

If I were to build a car I could do the design in solidworks, have a prototype machined locally. But if I want it to sell well I'd have to have an attractive price point. I couldn't do that in the U.S. Unless Obama were to subsidize my production costs in order to create new jobs. But that would only make the U.S. Debt even worse, causing inflation making the average buyer have to pay more because of the depreciated American dollar.

The only thing American about O'donnell is Steve...the parts are made in China. AKA is a USA company started by 3 guys that worked at Kyosho USA. Their stuff is USA made.

Serpent is made in China and last I heard, actually owned by a Chinese company now, though they still have design and R&D in europe.

Don't mix China and Japan. The wealth in Japan is as good as Europe and north america.

You sir are completely wrong. AKA tires are designed and made in the US. Kyosho does not own AKA anymore. Gil Losi Jr and Sr bought AKA from Kyosho just as the first AKA tires went on sale.

Kyosho prides themselves on the fact they are solely made in Japan. I read an article with an engineer who said he just hops on his bike to go check out production of various parts at different plants.

AKA (which translates into "Red" in Japanese) was originally a spin off brand by Kyosho started by Gil Losi Jr, Mark Pavidis and Joel Johnson (all were employed with Kyosho). They bought the company from Kyosho so now it is a separate entity.

About the xray?kyosho or nova?

Guys you can check also the bar codes(three first digits) to see were the product manufactured ..
Also Proline and some AKA make the foams at China...
Also Xray have a lot of same parts with Intech Br-5(taiwan) a shop here which deal with Intech and xray , when he is out of stock for the intech he use XRAY parts.... Dogbones XRAY-HUDY from the 808 and from Intech BR-5 are like a ''drop of water'' the same just with different colors ..
I think a china/taiwan factory makes them all!
Same with lipo batteries ... There are only 3 factories!!! and all are china...

I doubt even the o-rings on a Nova are made in China. All Italian, except maybe for the bearings. Same holds true for most of the other Italian motors.
