This thread is funny. All I can say is 90% of what I take to the track is .made in China. If you want a car that costs 4 times as much as you pay now then try to get them made in the us

Molded in Japan, mass produced in Taiwan, reshipped back to Japan for assembly?

I'm actually really surprised how defensive people are when the concept of communism comes up. Especially considering the obvious failure of conservatism...
Dictatorship - extreme right. LOL

Theres no democracy in dictatorship, to say its rght is contradicting.

I saw NASA is building a hugh rocket to explore outer space, At a price of 65 billion just seems wrong with the state of the economy I would be outraged if i was a US citizen and taxpayer.
why didn't they just get China to build it for them at a fraction of the cost like all the model companys do its just an oversized skyrocket and china are good at making those

I dont know how this thread turned into a political debate. But, there was no 3tril surplus, it was fabricated. Its part of the reason we are in so much trouble now. We have been in a downward spiral for much longer than Bush. Manipulating Social Security to appear as a surplus was part, along with the wars, along with the trillions the fed has been giving banks, along federally induced subprime mortgages. No one person is at fault, but the universal corruption of our system. Money is power, cause money buys influence.

I think everyone is missing the boat on this. Pit Pop brought up a great point that has lead me to this conclusion:

It's not where the car is made, but rather where the MOLDS are made. Think about it. The tolerance fittings of each part are only as good as the mold they were made in. Molds made in USA, Japan, Italy, Germany etc...are going to be much more precise and have tighter tollerances than those made in China or maybe even Tiawan.

Kyosho, Mugen, XRAY, Serpent and Durango (to name a few) make all their molds in house and then ship them to manufacture's, like Kingstar, for production. The proprietary blends of the plastic and quality of chemicals is also dictated by the car companies. So in essence, it's just as much the car companies fault (if not more) than the manufacture's when premature part failure occurs.

Now that being said, you have comapnies that have their molds done in China and not inhouse. This is what can lead to an inferior product.

Thoughts?
