Default Another one of these thread 408 & 811 !!!!

Guys,

Ive been a LOSI guy for a long time but I'm parting ways with the buggy.

My Selection
Durango 408
Serpent 811

I haven't seen the Durango 408 in person but Ive seen the Serpent 811. My heart is pumping Durango but since Ive seen the 811 run its making my selection hard.

Opinion about the Serpent 811: Its planted with good corner speed. Really impressed its well balance with awesome forward traction. The 811 take to the track well its making my selection hard cause of its positive performance abilities.

If you own ether kits can you give me your honest opinion.Support, performance, and the one thing which impresses you the most.

Also are their any issues and have they been resolved.

i, mean ive saw one serpent last year at my track and it did look good but than again it was a good driver so i dont really know lol.

Sorry guy D8 and AE > will never buy for my own reasons. Losi has great support but I jumping ship since I feel these kits are a peeling and offer difference concepts and performance attributes.

I was in the same boat as you, but in the end I went with the dnx. It looks the most "state of the art" imo, and I love the easy diff removal. I don't think you can go wrong with either one tho.

Yeah but since the Durango is a pretty penny I just need some pushing but the 811 seems to be a awesome kit really impressed its sticks to the track.

I'd go with the Serpent, because it was designed by a racer. I was faster with my Losi than the Durango....initial 'wow' factor aside, I personally didn't like how the 408 handled, just my opinion.

I noticed the 408 was very skirmish in the rear from all the Youtube videos is this common? Coming for the LOSI what did you loose?

The thing I like most about the 811 is that corners like the losi but you can push it harder. The wear factor is the second and probably biggest plus, a good friend has 4-5 gallons on his and the wear is minimal. I have heard a couple reports from the CRCRC race and it appears the Serpents are doing well. I personally am shocked that Savoya could not make the A and that Lutz is at the back of it at this track.

Yup thats what Ive seen about the 811 drives like a 8ight but you can push harder while staying on your feet. Wow more 811 then 408 very good feedback keep it coming guys.

The 8ight is a excellent kit but the 811 I feel is better. I wish I could give the 408 a whirl anyone want to send me one for a sample

Thanks Brian

Thanks never would think that but I noticed the 811 has more optional parts but again almost everything on the 408 is ALU.
