i use my Alden Pro Grabit screw extractors http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CBsQ8wIwAA#
i got mine at lowes. the smallest bit works great for set screws
otherwise i would try to pound out the pin from the hub, or drill out the set screw?

I tried the pound it out method (works in most cases outside of RC) but didnt work... i tried to drill it out but the bits are not up to it .. I will try that kit (and get better bits while im there.. Thanks

My mate who is an engineer was really impressed at how well they work (he'd never used one as he uses a torque wrench on just about everything, lol).

When this happened to me I was able to just pound out the pin with a small punch and a hammer. The set screw was easy to get out after that.
