Xchange,

I hear you on the packing. I'm driving down and I still have a hard time packing. LOL. Having not been there before, I'll prpbably take just about everything I have and go from there. As far as packing for flying? Oh man, I don't envy that. Way too much BS for that these days and I agree that the "Pro's" that do that week in week out have my respect too.

Oh and don't forget the rain gear. Either packed or bought when you get there. Looked at the extended weather report and right now it's saying rain on Sat. Could change though.

Yep, look, my travel is: Geneva, Switzerland to Montreal(work in Switzerland for few months but live in Canada hehe), Canada for 4days, pack my new durango, few parts, charger and radio. on 22, Pack the Nitro stuff like starterbox, glowingiter, fuelgun, new truggy, SC and take off for phoenix... Then, pick up the car in PHX and go to the wallmart to take table, gazebo and finally go to Tuscon in SRS to practice ....

Rain at the nitro challenge is not a matter of if but when. Just remember no refunds. Last year there were interesting tactics being used from special mud guards to radio tray wrapped in a plastic bag.

Hey SRS is in Phoenix not Tucson. By the way which city are picking up a car. I assume this is a rental car. Let me know I can help save you big bucks if you already didnt get a good rate.

If anyone is picking up a rental car in PHX please pm what company you booked with and what the price per day is and I will see about getting you something for less.

Xchange,

A member of the flyers club. Nice. Hope all the travel is well worth it.

Rain, yeah not the ideal situation for racing. Though I did see an old vid of some 1/8th on road racing in the rain on you tube. I'm told it rains there just about every year, but maybe this year will be the execption. LOL.

I know a few guys are thinking of hitting that Tuesday race up. I'll probably go, just not sure if I'll race yet. I will have a practice truck with me though and I'm sure the guys will try to talk me into it.

I have a rules question. I just built my son a HB D8 Hara Edition..With winter here in Colorado he will have zero time on the new buggy for Nitro Challenge. We still have last years D8 thats ready to go...Can he start out using the HE and if he cant get used to it switch to the old buggy during qualifying? Thanks in advance...

well, for me, i had to go at home in canada, so from there, it's just 300bucks for travel... not a big deal...then you add hotel fees and car another 300bucks and you spent 6days of race... but in my case i have 10 days after of holidays in Canada ... if i did'nt had to go ini Can, may be i not consider to race in AZ
