If it has .28 engine then it's a Ravager. If .32 then Violator, the Vio will have a wider wheelbase than the Rav. but is mostly the same car.

On another forum...

I've gotten replies that it's a Ultra LX-1

Not doubting you guys...and in looking at OFNA's site, it looks like the 9.5 Violator to me.

I'm just getting back into the hobby and I'm a newbie to nitro.
My last rc was a Losi JrX2 bought when they first hit the shelf in 1988.

Opinions on the Violator...?
I'm looking to race locally for recreation...not looking to kill records...lol

I have an ultra lx-1 comp that looks very similar. Can you take closer shots with the body off.

the 9.5 is a heavy buggy but its tough. just make sure you watch the diffs they might need to be shimmed. its ok to learn how to race or bash a little. get some servos and tires and have some fun.

My 1st buggy was the ravager, weakest point were the steering knuckles. Pretty sure this one is the violater, has the same knuckles though. Easy way to tell was that the violater had the shaft starter .32 and the ravager had a pull start .28.
