Talking 2wd nitro sc

I wish this was a class.

It would be a great way for noobs (like me) to get into nitro.
I want to make one of these to test the water, and see what nitro is all about
Its a much cheaper place to start than buggy or truggy
It will be much harder to drive, but i feel it would be extremely fun and competitive
The short course trucks can take a beating, and normally land on all 4"s after rolling. so people wont be on there lids too much
I was wondering if any socal guys were interested in making a class like this at rev.
This class would make the nitro sport as a hole grow imo
The electric tracks are growing and growing.
And it thanks to sc tucks and the price!
lemme know what you guys think?

as for chassis nitro gt with sc conversion?

I am working on one of these as well. Ive got the material, just have to machine a longer chassis plate to get started. I think it will be a great truck.

Xtreme Racing makes a conversion, that with the use of a few off the shelf parts, can convert a GT2 to a SCGT...

Mark at TC hobbies in Oceanside CA, Has made conversionkits for just about every 1/10th scale 2wd drive stadium truck out there. I have a Mugen MST1 that he converted to Sc for me. He has conversion kits for the GT2, Rustler, XXXT, Firestorm, XTM, and I think maybe one or 2 more. His number is 760-721-1089. We are trying to make these more popular to have our own class. we have raced them a few times up at Barona and they are a blast to drive.

Why not just gas truck?? All the same perks just not having to spend the extra money on the conversion..

i thank just being "sc" will draw some attention
and when your on a big track they tend to land on all fours more imo
They also save so many parts with thoes bodies and bumpers a-arms, shock towers, knuckles, hubs.... well just about everything lol

Barona is gonna be a few hours from you I would think. I am going to out at Rev this weekend. If you are going to be around the track I will bring it with me to the Race. I broke it last weekend so I wint be able to run it, but you can check it out if you want.

I am trying to ressurecy gas truck in my area, but it is slow going. Its hard to get 6-7 mixed gas & electric trucks to show.

.12 nitro SC has a cool factor, and would be cheap!
