I use the permatex gel. The blue is great, and very strong, the red is stronger but does come loose when you need it to. I like it because it doesn't get everywhere and you can wipe it into the threads, this was especially crucial while building the front hubs of the RC8T I had for a while.

What evers cheaper. Right now Im using some from the dollar store, and not one screw has caused any problems all year.

I'm using Loctite 222MS (low strength/purple) on everything this year. Still need to use a bit of heat to break screws loose. I've had bad luck stripping the occasional screw when using blue.
