People that are not able to play pro football for a living but have an interest in the sport get to see how things work. I believe people are not jealous of the RC Pros but rather because of a common interest just want to know how the whole being Pro works. Pros like Ryan who get on here and talk about what all goes on is a positive thing. I do not think people are trying to be intrusive but just really want to know a little about being Pro.

Just need to get a Cable network to follow an RC racer for a year....
+1!I think most of the people look up to our pro guys .If Drake really make 1 million a year i wish him two millions! If he makes only 80 k i wish him 160!In the normal world all of us should feel this way...If somebody comes here just to be jealous and negative that person doesn't really like this hobby....

That was funny. How come when Pudge was talking about his dad they were showing Peanut? Hmmmmm????

If those guys made that much, they would have bigger houses.

IITS A JOKE OK Come on, not one single RC driver has earned even 1 million. Ok maybe ex RC driver and ex Associated owner for example. but definitely not a driver.

Lamberto Collari (1:8 onroad 9-time world champion) maybe not make a million a year, but enough to buy himselve a Ferrari F430 to drive around.
Maybe because he has also engines and tracks named after him....

Yeah I mentioned him earlier. I would be willing to bet he's the top earner in all of RC. Win 9 WC's and you can too

I would be curious to see what winning the Buggy Worlds brought in for a bonus, I would guess its $20,000 or something, but even if it is that much (could be way off that is a guess) think about all the work and the odds of anyone winning that in a lifetime. Any repeating it is nearly impossible.

I would think if I was a factory driver and I wanted to make a living in this industry it wouldn't be only off of driving. You can't be a top tier driver your whole life, I would get involved in designing and getting into the business end of the company. I am sure it's easier said then done. Not to mention being a Factory Driver isn't the most secure job.

Anyway, stay in school kids.

Driving a Ferrari doesn't say much about how much you earn. It says a lot about how much you spend.

Not very long ago, it was so easy to tap into home equity and buy stuff you couldnt afford.

There are people in this world that flaunt their money that are really broke and then their are others that have money and down play what that have.

The pay scale is different for everyone in this industry and the longevity of any racers career is unpredictable.

Why does money matter if your profession is doing what you love and are so passionate about!

Enjoy while you can.......Nothing lasts forever
