I just got back from a 2 week visit in Houston and I HIGHLY recommend Mikes in Porter. I went there twice while I was down to run my 6T and that place is one of the best facilities I have ever been to.

Which part of Houston. There are shops that are east, west, north, south, and middle part of Houston. Would you like a track with the shop or just shop? What type of parts are you looking for? Each store has there own brands.

Is that the place with the roof over the track? If so I ran there about three years ago and the ruts were brutal. Needed to turn over the whole thing and re-do. But I'll say this, it was FAST. Good shop there too. Cool place.

The Guys at Mike's take care of the track pretty well. You may have caught it after a race, they open the track after heavy race days and sometimes the track gets beat up from the previous day. I am a regular there and most of the time it is in great condition.

Mike's in Houston was pretty sweet the last time I was there. I wish I would have stopped by a few days ago, but we were late for a family dinner.
