Default OK I have a problem. My eyes always water when driving. Who Else Has This Problem??

When im racing or doing laps my eyes start to water really bad.

Does this happen to anyone else. ???

Is it because im not blinking enough. I do wear Prescription Sun Glasses or Glasses for distance.

Any help???

Thanks.

We had to stand behind a mate and tell him to blink while he was racing, he had the same problem as you...

Goggles work extremely well for this. There is a few of us at the track that all do this.

I use Progrip 3200 goggles. They are light sensitive and fit nicely.

You need glasses, I had that problem. The goggles mention above, may do the trick.

My eyes water when I'm driving outdoors, because of the wind. A pair of goggles can help you with that.

Sometimes my eyes water when I'm driving onroad indoors, but that is because of the high speeds and short laps. It is almost impossible to find time to blink

The nitro smoke contains nitric acid, and this can cause very strongly reactions in the eyes.
The only thing to do is practice a lot and get your eyes 'used' to the nitric-acid circumstances.
Be sure to stay always up-wind the exhaust smoke, and try to avoid to get smoke in your face.

Smoke which comes in your eyes in the pitlane, will later cause tears...

Like militairy practice; just get used to it, practice to withstand...

I have a problem with not blinking as well. But instead of watering they get dry. This isn't a big deal if I remember to wear my glasses instead of contacts. Because when I do eventually blink with my contacts. I am screwed!!! My vision gets blurry and I am lucky to see my hand in front of my face. I might as well close my eyes at this point because I am no worse off. And it will stay that way for about 20-30 seconds. LOL when your going into a corner at the end of a straightway, bad things can happen.

Same here but my reason is contacts + no blinking = crying, add in some wind and there you go. My solution is ski goggles. Not one drop since
