Default Anyone local that can help?! Nitro Issue!

Need someone local to help me crank over my new Novarossi 4-plus...I consider myself a nitro noob and even though seemed to have setup everything correctly it seems like my blue top OFNA starter box is smoking up the wheel trying to get the flywheel to turn...I searched the threads and tried everything...

Thank you for the replies...I've done a lot of research prior to my first attempt to crank her over...I preheated the engine with a temp gun to 210 degrees, I primed the fuel lines and even backed out the plug a smudge....nothing can get this motor to break the pinch and start up...the rubber wheel on the starter just smokes up...

I even turn the flywheel all the way back to the opposite direction so it has momentum going before it hits the pinch...still no luck.

what most likley has happened is the piston is stuck at TDC, use a flat head screwdriver and pry it pass tdc, once its at bdc preheat to 200 degrees. the ofna box should not have any issues turning the plus 4 over. what batteries are you using in the starter box?

Make sure you arent hitting the chassis on the wheel also. Just a little drag there and it will drag it down and not start the engine.

If the piston is stuck coming to top deap center, make sure you are heating the engine and not just the cooling head.

Make sure it's not stuck at TDC (top dead center), heat it and start it with the glow plug loose. Once running, tighten the plug.

Make sure it's aligned properly. Check rubber wheel to chassis opening with the engine off the car. The smallest amount of misalignment added to the pinch of a new engine will smoke even the ofna truggy box.

I'm heading to West Coast RC right now. If you want to bring your car there, I'll get it fired up for you.
