Best truggy tires for outdoor clay track

Hey all, what are the best tires for running on a dry hard packed outdoor clay track here in Florida. I got a 1/8 Hot Bodies Lightning Truggy that came with a set of Panters and Bow-Tie's. The Panters don't have much left on them at all. I tried running with them since they were on the car and man I was all over the place slipping and sliding.

Thanks for the input.

Hard packed nothing beats aka gridirons. Holeshots are close but i still prefer gridirons.

hotbodies megabite's (pink)

Florida clay?

Medium AKA Gridirons.

Medium or Soft AKA Impacts.

1 race, then they'd be great indoor slicks for the great white north.

check out some hot bodies khaos in pink...as mentioned the pink megabites are dialed as well...I get several races out of mine before they are useless the Hot Bodies super soft compound lasts longer then most soft!

where in Florida, i may see you at the track :D

Well, I guess it is Georgia clay brought into FL. The track is in Bartow, FL and man it is hard as a rock and dry. I am new to the power of Nitro but every time I would hit it coming out of the corner the rear tires would be just spinning sideways.

Thanks

Thanks all, I just bought the Medium AKA Gridirons. Got 4 with foam for $42. Hope it was money well spent :)

with GA clay, i dont think you can beat HB megabites pink compound with AKA grooved foams. its my go to tire in GA and lasts forever.

Jconcepts reflex's treat me pretty good on hardpacked surfaces.

windellmc 03-01-2018 05:48 PM

+1 for reflexes. Also x3 proline buckshots.
