yea, thats the best you can do trust me it sucks when your switch goes bad on a nitro espially when your racing on the track and it happens .

+1 The fact that your wheels were on the ground with a known issue or glitch means you operated the model in a way the manual prohibits and thus would release HPI from honoring any warranty claims. Just my thoughts on the situation. I do not think that they are going to warranty it at all. Reson being, becaue they do not know what the truck went through prior to the switch issues, and in this case would be your word against there and therefore should just be wrote off and move on. Like someone said earlier welcome to the hobby. S**t happens.
