mounting 1/8 buggy calibers??

little help here, getting ready to mount some calibers and if i go by the arrow on the tire i will have 2 tires with differnt tread going wrong way? unless i put all 4 tires on one side of the buggy...LOL. the tread on these down the center is directional, do i need to just put 2 tires on backwards according to arrows on tires? thanks guys.

the package says for front or rear wheels, so im assuming you just turn as needed, arrows on tires will be wrong on 2 of them, kinda stupid:weird:, just wanted to make sure before i throw the glue at them:nod:

tires

. As long as the tread is the same on each side ;) Now i screwed up lol yes mike arrows facing forward on all 4.Just make sure the v pattern is facing the same direction both sides

i have the pattern on the tires like this.....>>>>....going forward on all tires, but 2 of the arrows on the wheels are backwards, if i go by the arrows on tires, either fornt or rear pattern will be oppisite, or left to right side.

what happens if you have 2 tires one direction and 2 the other ( saying left to right not front to back) you WILL get a pull or push......

all 4 tire arrows go the same direction giving the same amount of traction... if you dont the car will have more grip on 1 side of the car over the others...

mount all the same way.. what i have done is if you have to much traction flip both rear wheels the opposite direction.. you then dont have as much forward bite but the fronts will have the same... this is a tuning aid..

well i dint glue them yet. if i put the arrow on the tire going forward on all tires, 2 tires have the tread going in oppisite direction, so put 2 on the back and 2 on the front with oppisite tread pattern?

put all 4 wheels on the car. then put the left front on, and the left rear on with the arrow facing forward. On the right do the same with the arrow facing forward on both. with all 4 tires on the car, the tread pattern should face the same direction.:nod:

mount all 4 tires with arrows forward.... left, right, front and back... if you find the car now pushes with all 4 facing forward switch the rear tires from side to side.. left rear move to right rear and right rear to left rear.. you will have the front facing forward yet and the 2 rear wheels facing backwards.. which will give slightly less forward bite in the rear without giving up too much overall grip... plus you can still rotate tires front to back (with the arrows all facing forward) so just 1 pair does not wear out so fast.. if you would like to chat about this send me a pm with your phone #... jeremy
