Default Xray NT18Ts, how are they?

I'm looking at maybe last minute getting a pair of NT18T rtr's for my dad and I for x-mas.

Has anyone had any experience with these? I have xray stuff and they make an EXCELLENT product so I have to assume their quality on these is up to par with what I expect.

How are the motors on these? What optional motors can I put on if it burns out? Ive been into r/c forever so I (and my father) aren't exactly novices haha.

I think they'd be hella cool to run on the outdoor track between the heats and mains or on off days, or just to blast around the driveway. I feel like all our r/c crap is for racing and we don't just blast around in the backyard anymore

Matt
