My buddy owns a shop and the FLUX hands down.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy that. HPI is much more quality than Ansmann. You'll pay more, but you'll have more fun with it. It's stonger, better electronics, spares are easy to get, etc.

savage flux is what YOU want, its built like a tank, has huge power, and is bloody quick for its size

Do you think a hpi bullet 3.0 would be better then the Ansmann virus?, I have also heard that the Ansmann virus was crap, but the virus 2.0 (second version not engine size), I had a go with the virus 2.0 at the hobby store and it seems pretty well built, and has got plenty of power and stopping power with dual disks, but, what so you guys think ?

HPI? Sorry, have to disagree with you on this one.
I have owned Kyosho, Tamiya, Mugen and Traxxas. Have had a e Savage for a short while too (bought and set it up for a friends son). My current rc would own your savage, sorry to say. SO, the winner is.......
HPI Vorza Flux
Lol, most rc cars from name brands are of decent quality these days, go to a track or hobby shop if possible and just see what you like.
