you do know the reason why there is more post in the electric tread is because of sc trucks and its winter time when electric usually races.

i do tend to think younger gen than me like the tech of electric than older guys like me who like nitro engines.

I have only driven electric and I love it! But I must say it is very cool hearing the sound of a nitro car accelerating. The smell is cool too, it makes me feel like a kid again watching Bigfoot race! Lol that's why my first rc was a stampede! I wanted to be Bigfoot and I was 26! Lol
I can't see myself ever driving one but it just seems like nitro racing is the way things should be...

It doesn't really matter what a person chooses to run, as long as it gets them out playing, or supporting a local club/track while racing their gear. In the end it's all radio control, so it's fun, regardless what your power source is.

These debates, although fun, will never end I just see no point in being against one or the other, because they both have their place.
1000 percent agreed! If you run the biggest baddest most expensive nitro rig, or an inexpensive rtr, no matter. The more the merrier, and the better for the hobby to grow.

The only complaints that a nitro driver has against racing with an electric that I have seen is the simple fact that in the tiny little ten minute race that they run together, an electric driver just cant get them selves to stop for a full 3 seconds on a mandatory pitstop and they can clear a 90 ft quad that was meant to be a double double and while clearing it, they land on top of everbody else. It is nice to see that guy land on somebody and his speed control gets jarred loose and then the car burns to the ground in a melted pile of burning money. Quite fun!

Have fun with this one.
Same in Ohio, the nitro drivers are faster still.

We race on crappy dirt though (mostly).

I don't race as the nearest track is approx. 100 miles away. So for me, electric is great - I am not worried about the fastest way around a track, but more with what is the most fun. The high speeds and instant acceleration holds the most fun for me, so electric it is.
