Default ***hyper st pro questions.***

hey all !.I have a hyper st pro roller comming for a gift from my wife..!! and my question is what is a good engine size. should I also use a rtr type complete clutch set? I am new to 1/8 truggys.alo are the hyper st's bigger than the hyper 7 buggys ? thought I saw in a pic that they are a bit larger.any advice you could give me on this thing would be a great help.

yes it is bigger than a buggy and much more forgiving to drive. i ran one for a "long" time and loved it. just switched brands because i came across one i drove better.

so is a hyper st able to be a streeter...!!!!..like is it something that is easy to convert back and forth?...with a setup and tire change?...sorry for all the questions I am very anxious about getting this thing and have never even seen one.lol I run mostly ofna stuff a hyper 7 pbs,gtp2,crt.5,ld3. so this kinda rounds it out....lol.we don't have a lhs within a 3 hr drive so we only see what is on the forums till they show up on the big brown truck.well this time I gotta wait on the jolly red fat man......anyone got pics of yours please post them up....

yes it can be on and off road with tire change and maybe stiffer springs. i even have a set of road rage tires mounted i would sell for $45 shipped. pm me if interested.

ok cool....I like to run both on and off road.and I'll get back to you on the road rages. it might be after the holidays. but I am interested.

Run a .28..the hyper is a tank (heavy)..I would also use aluminum clutch shoes for the same reason..

just got a hyper in a trade and you are correct very heavy mine came with lrp .30 Not bad but needs a second gear. Is there a second gear kit ??

it is somewhat heavy but it performs very good! and it has a very cool looking body..

I was wondering the same on a 2 speed...???is there one that works ?..

what do you all think of a .32 ? I have read some on the ofna forums say they dropped engine size to stop tire balooning.they were going to the .21 myself I'm a power junkie...!!!..also anyone hear of a brake mod of some kind?

Unfortunatly there is no 2 speed. Found out in another thread at OFNA siteIt would dominate if it had the 2nd gearWith the added speed and the outragous handling it has no doughbt

Dont know about the 32 but I can tell ya the LRP 30 that came with my ST cranks Havent had any issues yet. Ive probly run 10 tanks thru it with all weather conditions and I didnt have any prob. 2 pulls to prime and 1 pull to maker her scream.
