I was thinking more along the lines of a brushless conversion. I really want a 4WD electric and had originally planned on getting the Hyper 10 TT. I ordered the CRT .5 last night. Judging from the stock indicators on the catalog these aren't selling as fast as I figured they would at that price.

Years ago I ended up with two of these. The class died, so I converted one to electric. I had a spare ESC and 550 motor, so I only needed a battery box from the SCRT10. It's fast as snot and a lot of fun in the dirt or on the pavement. I have the factory long chassis, but it's still a handful.

Be sure to use 2.2 truck tires instead of buggy tires.

Thanks for the tips. I'm not going to go super extreme on the motor/esc combo. I still need to do a bit of research on the conversion though. The kit I bought is supposed to be equipped with the long chassis.

I just ordered this kit last night... Are they coming w/ the long chassis so you can run standard servo's? If not, what mini servos are ya'll running?

It comes 80% assembled as a short chassis. They include the long chassis kit in the box. It's an easy swap.
