Default Good starting buggy?

Hello,
Just wondering what is a good starting buggy? I am looking at the ofna's because of there price. I will go to the track a few times with it, but also bash around with it.Please let me know. Also would the jammin x1x be worth the extra cash over the rtr ofna's?Thank You

if your after a RTR buggy, losi eight 2.0 RTR is what you want hands down.

get one you can get parts for at your LHS, and see what other guys have at your track, and go from there.

might want to look here in the forsale section, you might be able to find a nice rtr or roller in your price range. just a thought.

+1 there are some awesome deals to be had here at times. Just keep an eye out and deal with folks with a good amount of positive feedback. Only buy from folks who know what they are doing and never from someone who is tired of the hobby and just wants to get out. Those tend to be the lazier folks and when it comes to nitro, thats when you run into problems.

I have a new O'donnell Z01B Team buggy I put together but never ran. I would take $300 plus shipping. Good starter all new.

Whatever brand you go with, and whether you buy new or used, you might want to consider a truggy. While I don't bash any of my racers, a truggy is better built for "non-track" conditions because they're bigger. Buggies are a bit too low for anything other than racing (unless you have plenty of access to smooth dirt).
