i will most likely be a minority in this thread, and i dont mean any disrespect.

i think that truggys are ackward giants. everything about them seems clunky and ungraceful.
i have no doubt that they are fun to drive. i just hate the way that they look.
i think that driving a buggy take more finess and ability.
but thats just my .o2

again, no offense to you truggy guys! there are so many different types of rc's so that we all do what we love in this hobby and i think its great.
i also see no point in crawlers. but thats another subject!

i totally understand what you are saying man, i used to say the exact same thing and also made fun of my mates running truggies untill one day a friend passed me his Tx to run his truggy, i think i drove it for 40 minutes without stopping except for pit stops, i was soooo hooked man, yes its easier to drive but man its tons of fun, if i was to choose between buggy and truggy, i would choose truggies all day long

Same here.
I've driven buggies for years...but nothing compares to a truggy when the track is bumpy and blown up...i only get down from the stand to fill it up.
No more tires facing up in the sky which ruins all the fun especially when the race is so close!!

LOL, what a great thread title. I cussed truggies for years, seems like every race I somehow ended up marshaling Sportsman Truggy in quals and got sick of dodging and flipping 10 pound missiles. I picked one up this summer because I wanted the radio and decided to take it for a spin. Hated it. Took it apart, rebuilt it, changed the setup, put it back on the track and fell in love with it. Buggy is fun, but you have so many more options with truggy. Those pesky lane markers really don't mean much in Truggy . I sill think there should be a mandatory driver's test before you can legally buy one though.
