I have to admit, I like watching truggy races on a huge track like the Nitro Pit. It's honestly one of the best classes; most forgiving, most power, less crashing. On top of all that, it's a crazy good bashing vehicle for anybody who likes Nitro. Just drive it up a tree, and if you want, put in a brushless system. Then you might get it stuck in a tree.

Pitpop- I agree with you. At the larger Nitro events I have been to the Truggy racing is great to watch. The cool factor of the truggy is what drew me to them. Just getting my St-RR all refreshed for this season...

Really think if you like it...run it. Have fun and add to the car count at your local track. Everyone should be welcome.

Jeff

That's the perfect example of a fast, smooth, high speed flowing track that I'd rather run a buggy on.

Seems truggies are faster on the outlandish huge jump tracks, but a nice flowing track with reasonable size jumps favors the lighter buggy.

My truggy feels like a pig compared to my buggy.

Thats great if you would rather run your buggy, run it, nuthin wrong with that, others would rather run a truggy, nuthin wrong with that either. There is room for both and it helps the hobby grow. But I don't think my truggy feels like a pig!

Let me guess, your truggy is a D8T?

Yeah, it's a big, fat, lame suspension Hillbillies D8t. It's easy to drive, but it's no Mugen 6.

I just prefere fast sweeping buggy tracks. I'm not big on bumpy truggy oriented tracks. This years worlds track looked awesome.

It would be cool if we could put stretched buggy bodies on truggies. Truggy bodies make no sense.

The Pattaya worlds track was super blown out most of the time. Truggys would have turned faster times. As far as the bodies on buggys and truggys, the newest styles all look like guppys. Except for size, it's hard to tell the difference.

HAHA! That's awesome I can't agree more. That dude just layed it to the buggies.

Truggies are just flat-out cool. I like buggies, but truggies are the ultimate RC, ready to do what ever you ask of them, and to do it well

My truggy feels quite light on it's feet. My buggy on the other hand need valiums. It's a little nervous, lol.
