Not too hard to understand . The clay compounds are natural rubber and smell like tires from a bike shop . They work well when they're is heavy moisture on the track and last forever . They're very finicky though and the surface needs to be perfect for them to work . Depending on wear, aka supersoft compound is generally the best tire on a wet track .

Perfect. Thank you very much. That's about what I found with the Jc 7's in clay compound. They were horrible so that explains it. The track was clay but not the perfect track.

theres no 1/8th scale tracks in california that i know of that required a pink/gold/mc compound. Maybe if your running indoors at OCRC with electrics.

Pink compound losi tires, are like a natural rubber.. they are almost plasticy. Gold JC stuff is the same way.
