ok im trying to set my toe for my 8ight 2.0. i couldnt find an 1/8th scale toe guage so i didnt buy one. but i have a camber gauge and a set of calipers. can some one give me a detailed description on how to set the toe w/o a gauge. pics would be nice!!!

If you have a flat surface like a set-up board or piece of flat plywood, put it vertically on the edge of the table, so that your flat surface makes a 90º angle with the table. Then, with your car on and your trims set, push the car up against the vertical board. Set your camber gauge to whatever you want your toe to be, and place it on the vertical board and adjust the steering links.

That might be hard to understand... If you have any questions, just ask. I will try to answer with a clearer response.

i use a gauge for my camber...then eyeball my ride height and toe. close is good enough for me.

Make sure that you adjust your camber first, then your toe. Camber changes your toe. You might have to go a little camber, then toe, then back to a little camber adjustment, then toe again. You'll find the sweet spot. Good luck.

i always wondered if your tring to get 3* of toe out in the front .. would you go 3 on each wheel or 1.5 on each wheel ?
i always wondered this when reading different set-up sheets

I did like the feel for the car with ether 2.5* or 3 out on the front .. but then i tried the 1.5( which in this case i thought i was doing 3 total ) and lost a ton of turn in
