I'll run mine another season since i have parts for a rebuild but unless a 3.0 comes out that has some of this stuff fixed i'll be shopping something else for my next rig.

+1 you, are right about them points their are other brands that already come with the upgrades like the rc8t which is worth it. i dont know why losi doesnt do the same thing.

I'm not calling you a liar by any means i'm just stating that its wierd we have 2 complete opposite experiences with the same product.
I just think there is better out there for the same money. However, i don't know that since i have only run Losi. Again i'll run the losi again next season since i have a full rebuild parts lot. I've had some good times with the Losi but i've had some bad. I've seen cheaper kits come with parts that should be standard on race vehicles but the losi its all extra. Just gets under my skin.

rc8t is a good truck, i have rc8tce and the d8t at the moment, both are durable i like the handling better on the d8t, i wouldnt recommend getting a rtr ,better off getting a kit and buying the gear seperate it will be cheaper in the long run

You definitely can race the D8T. You can race any of the ones named. Another thing is your gear truggies tend to need better servo's because of the bigger tires and weight. Nice thing is with the newer light trucks .21's are still rockets in these trucks. Pretty much comes down to money.
