Well I would say os speed all the way best buggy/ truggy or whatever engine out there but it's a bit out of your budget. I would go with an os xz. They will be avail any day now. All you need is a 2060 pipe and you are gold. Here's a link.

Ya there are other engines out there like nova, werks, alpha etc. But non top os in my book.

I would recommend the Werks B5 and a JP3 pipe. I am big fan of the os v-spec engines and after snapping a rod in my new v-spec, a good friend at the track let me borrow a b5 and i'm a true believer after running the motor for the rest of the weekend and i was running in my Losi 8t 2.0. I was very impressed with the bottom end and top end compared to the v-spec. As for the clutch set up use 4 aluminum clutch shoes, 2 gold springs and 2 green. There are quite as few b5 running at our track, that will be my next engine purchase. I hope this helps.

Default Nice budget.

350 would get you a great selection of engines. OS Werks Novarossi Alpha RB

Take your pick. Plenty of great engines. Personally I would get a p5...If your new to the racing scene a p5 would give you plenty of power and reliability, later on you can get a vspec RB 10, FMS Nova and so on...

For now a P5 or Werks b5 would be a great race motor for you or even a seasoned expert.

Go for the Novarossi +4 - they are silky smooth in a buggy or maybe a P5 if you want something a little more punchy.

Heck I have a NIB 2009 +4 C 4-sale, and you'd still have funds for a 9901 pipe
