Is there a list of all the "option" parts that come with the D8 AHE?

anyone that is in the market for a new motor edd bridges (ebmods) is having a special..

((Ok, so I've been thinking of what I can do for the 1 year anniversary of the JS Racing engine release. At the same time something that may help promote the stock engine line and prove the JS Racing engines can compete in box stock form...... So I decided to have a Stock engine sale..

Stock JS Racing Engines:
$175.00 each from now till Jan. 6th 2011.

Just give me a call at the shop 570-779-0646 or email at [email protected] if anyone is interested.

To anyone who is still on the fence about the JS Racing engine please rest assured EBMods has been in business almost 10 years. We stand behind everything we sale, and hold the factories we do business with to the same standard. On top of that EBMods is known for having some of the "best customer service on the planet!" <---- Quote from customer

This year we made several production changes to the JS Racing engine improving the power and runtime, and fixing some early on production problems. Ask anyone who has bought a JS Racing engine that was defective, and they will tell you EBMods replaced it Free of Charge no questions asked ..... ))

How is everyone finding the stock setup on their home track?

I ran my hara for the first time last night. My home track is bumpy and often dusty, mix of fast sweepers and few tight corners leading into jump sections.
Buggy felt very responsive, running B6 in it, was ballastic down straights. May have to soften damping tho as track is very bumpy and not sure about the 1 degree camber all round yet - maybe go 2-3 on rear.

Buggy jumps well, found I was over jumping some jumps due to the lightness of the buggy and also having too much power on tap.
Am very pleased how the buggy went, took plenty of abuse with no damage and feels like a very quick buggy that will better my lap times

I have run this setup at just about every kind of track condition:

7/7/3 Diffs
1.3/350/grey Front
1.3/400/Yellow 68mm Rear
-2 Front Camber
-2.5 Rear Camber
27mm Front Rideheight
29mm Rear Rideheight
99.5mm Front Shock Lenght
110mm Rear Shock Lenght

Very easy to drive, Responsive, Smooth setup. If I run on a smooth, clay track with large jumps, I just increase the rear ahock oil to 450, or leave the 400 and run 1.2's instead of the 1.3's.

Are the receiver and battery reversible? Can you remove the motor without moving the mesh?

The motor uses a two piece mount so that you can remove the motor and not the main mount. You could swap the battery and rx but would need a antenna mount on the front box.

I have seen a few people switch the Batt/Reciever locations. Although you need to leave them where they are. The D8 is meant to have the added weight of the battery up front for balance.

Yes, You can take the motor out without disturbing the mesh. Two piece motor mount, Its included with the Hara and Origional D8 kit. The Hara is 1mm Taller to account for the 3mm chassis though.

The motor mount is taller so the fly wheel isn't below the chassis.

I use the original engine mount and then use the truggy center diff mounts.
Engine stays low while only raising the center-diff a tad.

So you haven't experienced ground clearance/flame out problems with the flywheel in this configuration?

OK so due to the horrible weather I haven't been able to get my car on a good track as of yet except for four tanks and the track was really loose and blown out. With that said does this buggy seem harder to drive than the older car? One of the things that I liked the most about the old D8 was the stability of it. I really hope that didn't go away with the new car.
