If only the pit man was as humble as the driver.

Maybe you should do the same. I have owned both and still own the mp9 and the quality of the kyosho is alot better than the losi. Guess you have been drinking the kool-aid to long

Default Each to their own!

I`ve owned and raced Losi`s for a while now. Just sold my 8ight 2.0 Buggy after racing it for 18months. It was a really good buggy, i did 1 rear diff in it but i believe that to be more my fault than anything, putting it down to not being stringent enough with the maintenance. Apart from that one mishap, it really gave me no trouble for the time i raced it. Sure they might look like they`re 12 months old after only 3 race meetings with their built in slop factor, but it in no way affects the way they drive, imo. They certainly do seem to prefer a smoother driver though and towards the end i felt as if i was driving on eggshells just waiting for a bobble to happen.
So anyway, i have just purchased a shiny new Kyosho MP9 TKI2 buggy for next season. Really looking forward to putting some laps down with this thing to see what it`s got. Owned an "MP7.5 Kanai Edition 3" a few years back and it was a great car also.
I think though, if you look after what you have and maintain your gear, it will give you good service no matter what brand it is, to a certain extent that is.

I would keep budget and part support in mind when choosing any buggy.
In my own opinion, Kyosho has priced themselves from the local scene.
The quality may be good but not impressed with e-clips on the most expensive 1/8 scale made. No current car competes with the quality of X-Ray and Mugen.
Any car on the market today can win, you just have to put it there.

Have you seen an MP9, or just read propoganda by fanboys?
