With the Kyosho and the Losi they both have hard coated aluminum standoffs and balls in the rod ends. The coating wears off then they start to get sloppy. With either car you will have to replace them once in a while.

yep kyosho mp9. i personally would get the mp9 tki"1" then upgrade it with the CNC parts. the kyosho is a fair bit stronger and way better quality if you look after it.

the kyosho drives way better then the losi too

Losi

They last - Broke one part all year, hinge pin that broke while I hit a wood beam.
They work - They been out for a while, and NO OFFICIAL updates needed.
AND
Plenty of support - At the track, getting parts and information.

kyosho buggy can be pushed harder like a truggy almost where as the losi needs to be driven nicer like a tenth scale almost
both are very good cars just depends on how you drive for me the losi did not work because of my aggresive driving style
where as the kyosho works very well for me the first weekend i drove the kyosho i was much faster than i was with losi which i have run for over a year but on the same note friend is much faster with losi then he was with his other car. just depends on driving style

Humm thats good to know. I like the aggressive style too and you are right my losi needs to be treated vary carefully or it tends to get out of shape. I tried a 5/5/5 diff oil setup this past weekend and it worked very well but not on a tech track. Thanks for the input.

Just to clarify something, the TKI2 comes with steel pivot balls that NEVER wear out... so if you want the aluminum you can get it, but the original stuff is long wear.

IMO this thread is not comparing equal products... it's the Nissan vs. Ferrari syndrome...

I just picked a new losi 8ight 2.0 race roller with 9100s and 9100t servos along with a 5 tank old novarossi p5xl and the car has the aluminum top plate and chassis braces.I will post pics soon.I went with the losi because i have a ton of spare parts for it and they fit my driving style. And the fact that i have the 2.0 truggy.
