The Megabites are also a very good one. Not sure why I forgot about them. Pink Megabites with AKA grooved foam will work great in there.
Im going to try the Megabites and AKA foams, Now what rims ? lol I dont think my racing buddy is going to get free and its a long trip solo, So this will give me a chance to bring some new rubber also .

Not going to find a tire as soft but yet last as long as the Megabites. Pink compound of course.

Hey Jessie I had seen on a setup sheet of yours that you trimmed the AKA foam. Can you give some input on this ? I dont like to make mistakes on tires they cost to much money for me . thanks

The AKA grooved inserts fit pretty good without trimming them. They are a lot more rounded off than the old style.

I also mounted my stock HB wheels with soft City Blocks with the older foams, this will be my first pair of new foams. I could have some in my pre mounts that I havent cut open yet .

If you use the 'softer' grooves AKA inserts, you don't need to trim the inserts. If you use the old smooth 'firmer' inserts, these are the ones I trimmed. I just cut a little off each side of the insert so that is was as wide as the tire, HB tires are a bit narrower than AKA's. Just eyeball it and go with what you think looks right.

Wheels, I think HB's might be the lightest out there, honestly. However the price for this is if you have a lot of bad/very hard crashes, the inner hoop of the wheel (by the inside sidewall bead) could crack.
